Options 2, and 3 call for fiberglass tapeing of the inside seams only and using glass cloth for the outside. Just to clarify. Would I stll need to apply glass strip to both sides of the butt joints of the hull strips, or just the inside joint?

both sides and then glass over them when doing the seams or entire surface.
