Matt how do you think this would do as a tandem?

It would do fine long as the weight on board doesn't exceed it's ideal capacity by too much.

If it's 2 people paddling, you'll have to coordinate your strokes so you're not whacking your paddles together.

If it's one paddling and one reading a book, you'll do just fine. :lol:

Wouldn't beefing up the gunwales considerably make it possible to do away with the thwarts? I would like to shorten the cockpit to about 96''.

Or also I was looking at the South Wind 15-30 as a tandum..

I like the lines of the tv better..
After studing it I see at the break where the tumblehome panel begins whould be a good place to attach a sheer clamp. This would alow the enlarging of the tumblehome panel to become part of the deck.

Like what I did on my first build the 14 footer.
