I've been snowed in a couple days now so I was able to get a good start on my Sasquatch. This is my first build and so far I'm having a blast. I'm not posting a lot of details since I am a beginner and wouldn't want any other newbies picking up my bad habits.
Loosely stitched together.
Started tacking seams.

Re: Sasquatch 16-33
G.day Dan,
Your build is brilliant so far. I built the prototype of this boat ad i just can't say how pleased I am to see more of them being built.
Sas 16-33 is in my opinion, the finest stitch and glue open canoe design - in that size range, available. You are going to bloody love this boat mate. They are fast, stable and a joy to paddle with absolutely no bad habits
Just to whet ya appetite mate. Taken yesterday.

Re: Sasquatch 16-33
Thanks guys for the kind words. It's been a joy so far. I'll try to post more pictures this weekend if I can find the time to get more done on it. We are having a 13th birthday party for my grandson tomorrow and I have been elected to barbecue some ribs.

Re: Sasquatch 16-33
Since this is my first build I went with cheap luan plywood from Lowes. The decks where made from some ash I had left over from another project the same as the white oak I am using for the gunnels. I will try to get some more pictures posted tomorrow.
