Touring Canoe Question
I have wanted to build a boat for a long time. Finally the shop is clean and I received the free plans for the touring canoe. Since the length is alittle long I was considering squaring off the stern to mount a trolling motor. Here is my question: Has anyone tried this and is it reasonable? Thanks in advance for your help.

it's reasonable so long as it's just a trolling motor of 3hp or less.
