Yea thats why I like it

Post by tx river rat »

There are a lot of reason ,personal pride, performance, light weight, looks.
I have been ask what my favorite boat is and my response is always the T-V ,dumb me I just figured out why . It is stable enough to sit up 8 are nine inches, has an open cockpit like a canoe
for fishing and gear that you need often easy in easy out ,has closed decks for securing gear , low profile for handling wind and waves, bulkheads so even if you fill the cockpit it is still able to be paddled, narrow enough to be easy paddling.
Basically what I have is a SOT with out getting wet ,a canoe for moving around, kayak sink for the performance and low wind signature. no wonder I like it ,it is the best of three boats all in one.

Yep.......

It is one fine boat , will take everything a United Van Lines Driver can pack in his truck and then more. :D

Image

And Ron still had more ( Lots More ) to pack in it and on it......... Including ...HIMSELF.

Image

That is one ...PACKED ...Boat and there was noting missing for camping , No Sir , Nothing at all.

Well the ole T-V had another hard day, Darrel and I went fishing and paddled about 10 miles ,jumped our boats over a bunch of log jams, back up paddle like he@@ and see how far up on the log you can go. we had a blast.
Caught a few fish to.

Tx river rat and I hit the river again yesterday and had a good day. We met up about noon and went to the lake to get some bait.

Image

Ron has the kayak cast net throwing down to a science.

Image

We hit the river and paddled down to a creek we have been want to explore for awhile now. We paddled up the creek about 4-5 miles jumping many log jams along the way.

Image

notice when I am throwing the net there isant a ripplr and jumping the logs she is good and stable even with me setting 9 inches high.

Nice fish. I haven't had a chance to catch a catfish since I left Arizona. Sure do miss fresh blackened catfish.

Wow! That is some skinny water.
