Re: Strip built or S&G
Well, I am in the process of my first of many hopefully. This is a S&G but am real interested in a strip. Can't wait to give my honest opinion!

I think I prefer a stripper because to me they are easier to build altough they do take alot longer to complete.

Re: Strip built or S&G
I would have to say I like the strip built better, but they do take a lot longer to build. I like the ability to do various patterns with strips. I am leaning towards doing a hybrid as my next build. I still have to finish the 18 1/2 foot strip canoe I started a year ago. The exterior is done except for the trim and varnish, Just got to pop her off the forms and sand and fiberglass the inside.
