Have a question on drawing the frame reference lines. Do I measure from some point?? I am looking at the plans and do not see any reference distances on the plans at all. It just says "Draw the reference lines as shown on the frame reference drawing" I see the lines and the x's at the tops but how?? Please help, stumped and stuck at this point right now.

Dickie you should have a drawing marked "Frame Ref" that gives you straight line mesurments for frame location. HTH

Confused me too at first...I'm building a Freedom 13. On mine, and I guess all the other plans, the measurements are from the edge of the panel, which suggests the panel better be perfectly square and true!
I used a 36" long T-square, like a draftsman (oops, drafts-person) uses (oops, used to use) and marked my lines every 12" along the way...problem with that was, when I did it from the other edge, the top of the line (36" from the bottom of the panel) would be off by a couple of mm. I solved this problem by ignoring it, like I do a lot of stuff. I sketched another line from the other side and kinda split the difference.
I found a nice metal "yard stick" at Lowes with inches and mm's on it which I used to find my points. I'm currently glassing the boat, so I guess it all worked out ok.
