It's been sifted through kitchen flour sifter 3 times. It looks much larger with this macro shot though. Any comments before I use it??

I used stuff just like that on my pirogue.....never again, the fillets came out rough and jagged with very sharp points that drew blood.
I will be using store bought stuff this time

Thought never even crossed my mind till now. Guess what I found hiding in the collection bag from my belt sander?? Its the texture of actual baking flour! I guess that's why they call it wood "flour"

that should work if it's just wood and no paint chips or other debris.

No paint chips or anything. Have just used for 2x4's etc for different projects. I have tacked my pieces together so I will let you know how it works.

You can't beat free and readily available.

That's what I use on every boat. The wood flour from my random orbital sander. When I sand pine, I empty it into a separate can than the cedar and hardwood flour. Then I have different shades for different purposes.
