It's oversized. Pictures are limits to 800 pixels wide. Otherwise the dial up members would never be able to load up the forum topics.

Woohoo!!
We got it this time.
Been managing to pinch a bit of time before dark so I'm moving forward slowly but surely.

Just starting to stitch together.Image

This naughty slug decided to kill itself between 2 of my panels.ImageReally need more sanding to do!??!

Wow it even looks like a boat. Image

Some outside fillets done.Image

The bows even look pretty straight i think. (I hope)?Image

Yep, looks very straight from this angle. 8)

I know it's a bit more work but I reckon it will look best with scuppered inwales. There are some threads here somewhere with details of how other people have done theirs - might be worth a look.

Either way it's shaping up to be a fine boat.

Yeah Bob I'll definitely do slotted inwhales.
I've read loads on this forum and I've got a couple of books on different build techniques and I'm going to use a router to cut little vee's or grooves about 200-250 apart.
Should look nice and help her drain.
Once I'm set up I should be able to do it pretty quickly so hopefully not to much more work.
Been busy again doing internal fillets.
You think your being pretty neat till they've hardened and you see how much tidying up they need.
Spent hours sanding yesterday.
I'll get some more pics up soon.

Busy every minute i get.
Desperate to finish while the weathers good.
Added advantage of no boat worth paddling to distract me.
Finished all the inside seams.

Pretty happy with how they've turned out....

....except where they go over the butt blocks.
Image

Anything i can do to fix these?
And that bastard slug really left its mark.

I sanded till i thought i was gonna rub a hole in the wood and its still there.

Ordering wood for gunwhales and decks tomorrow.
Its all happening.

On this one, just scrape out the white area and fill in with some slightly thickened epoxy.
