JEM Watercraft

Okay... so I've got a long list of boats that I would like to build for me, but as these things usually go... Momma has expressed a desire to have something "first". So since nobody's happy when momma's unhappy... she gets her boat first, and the rest of us will have to borrow.

This is my first build, so things like the buc or okwata have been excluded due to their higher complexity.
Really long craft are out because she'd like to handle it by herself on the land/roof rack.
Like to stay narrow / efficient (Freedom looks slightly faster with the twisted hull panels, but is wider...)
Possibly decked to stay low profile to avoid wind frustration (Pirogue may be a little too long and too wind-affected)
Flat water paddling, calm day predominately... I may try to take it on a river, but doubt she would.

What boats have I missed that might meet that criteria? Which of these is going to be the "fastest"?

TV is going to be the fastest due to length. Laker after that. Laker can feel a little "twitchy" to a new paddler. But glides like you wouldn't believe. Freedom will be the most stable.

Is there a max weight range on board you'd be working with? For example: If you took it out sometime on a fishing trip?

Max isn't the concern... its the lower end... It would be in poor form to post my wife's weight, so let's couch it in a different way. My 9 year old daughter goes about 75 pounds, and the sooner she's in the range for one of these boats, the better... Laker looks like it has the lowest recommended WOB of the set.

yea I was trying to be diplomatic about that posting issue. But the info helps be offer more usable advice.
