How do I locate a solo paddling seat in a canoe-Sasquatch 14? Thanks/Bob

On the Sasquatch, typically ideal location is a spot that has your hips about 6-10" aft of the center of the canoe.
I suggest you take her for a spin without the seat first. Take along a bucket or some sort of pads to try a couple different locations. Then install the seat.

I'm 6-1 and 208 , in the Sasquatch I made ... the leading ( front) edge of the seat is right at the center line and when I'm in the canoe it is balanced perfectly.
Chuck.
