How Many Coats???

So I am still epoxying the hull. I'm about to apply the 6th coat (not counting the wet out) because there is still weave showing. This is 6oz glass (I believe it is e-glass). Am I doing something wrong? I apply with roller and squeegee of the excess, maybe I am applying too much pressure with the squeegee?

You might putting too much pressure on the squeegee.
I've had good luck just using the roller and not squeegeeing off excess.

OK, that's what I was thinking. What about the little bubbles? Chip brush or a foam brush to knock them out?

Scrape the boat down. You keep building the high spots with every coat of epoxy you add to fill the low spots.

Thanks DM, I did see that post and was using that as well, it does work great for pulling off the lumps.
