Last night watched a movie, "Last Of The Mohicans"
They ran two canoes over a waterfall. It wasn't faked,
they did it. I had no idea this is possible.

In the 1992 film, they ran Hooker Falls on the Little River in North Carolina.

American Whitewater says that it is a 15 foot falls and rates it as a class IV.

In my younger days, I ran falls up to about 8 feet in an open canoe.

I, due to a poorly executed approach to the fish ladder and an unfortunately chosen angle for the rope that was supposed to pull me back to the run, ran Rainey Falls (14 foot drop) on the Rogue River in a 16 foot raft.

Sounds like there may be a considerable gap here, in between "possible" and "wise".
