A couple of questions about construction of the Muskoka:
1. How are the panels fastened to the transom? I assume that the best would be a bed of glue on the transom "shelf" plus a fillet inside and fiberglass outside but how do you seal the "shelf" and get the glue into it?
2. I don't see a dimension for the seat positions. Am I missing the obvious?

To get the shelf, the transom is made of 3 layers. The two inner layers are offset ~1/4 toward the middle of the transom area. When laminated together, that creates the step.

The seat position is really a builder preference depending on if it's used as a solo or tandem.

For use with a trolling motor, I'd put the front of th aft seat about 24" from the stern. But build her first and take her out in shallow water with some buckets or block to test different seating positions. See where the boat trims out and handles the best. Be should to load it with what you'd typically take with you for this test.
