What would be the expected performance differences between the 13 and 14 foot Lakers? All dimensions are the same except the length, would this just give a modest omount of added stability?

I probably should wait on Matt to answer, but I would expect it to be a little faster, carry more weight, and track a little better along with the modest increase in stability.

Also thinks it would arrive anywhere up to six inches before the short one, however the back end will get there relatively later than the short one

You get about 30 more pounds in carrying capacity. It will be faster. A little bit more stability.
cockpit sizes are the same for both. Both are symmetrical for easier assembly.

Thanks, at 200 to 220 lbs. the 14 would probably be more the one for me. If I can get my wife hooked on this I'll build her a 13.
Thanks for the replies, This will be my first build after my bookshelf.
