PH 14-29 Pirogue

Here are some photos.

and for those that are curious, gunwale is oak, walnut, sassafras, the outer rim board is eastern red cedar, the decks are birch plywood and the cross supports are also walnut with a sassfras thrown in. The other plywood is 1/4" from Lowes. I'm happy with it, the quality could be better and will be on the next one, I'm glad I went with the pirogue to learn the building process. Will try to get it in the water tomorrow.
I also sank the decks about 2" below the gunwale, I liked the looks of it and thought it would be handy to have as a shelf.
It still needs some sanding and varnish.
