Well you have all seen my Freedom I had a little problem with the seat in it today.



I got to thinking it was in the yak loose and if I turtled it would fall out. I took a strap and put a clip on it so I could atach it to the boat.I took the seat out


Dang thing started coming apart had a stick dropping down of off the bottom


Well dangit another piece dropped down chair is junk


hummmmmmmmmmmmmm now this is giving me an ideal

I wonder if this might work yea it might


looks pretty good


think I will try it out


AHGGGGGGGGG good drink fishing pole good place to sit can't get any better than this

this can be adapted to the seat backer Chuck designed and is on UJ site

Hey good job Ron. I actually thought the same thing about my seat. Not quite as fancy as yours though. I got the idea from Mick but, I made mine with a little more height.

It is still a lot lower than yours but, sits just fine, a lot better than the ground. A few months ago I went on a camping trip and used the kayak. One of the things I noticed was there was no place to sit except on the ground. This seat would have been nice to have then. That occurred to me after I made it and said "dang, I can take this out of the boat and use it at the camp site". Great job!!
