Nah....too many weeks on the road this past year...I'm pushing to have at least the inside painted by Christmas.
You think I should do a sheer clamp? I was thinking about it the other day.

Chalk if you are going to buy a small skiff check out these. eastcapecanoes.com. I believe they are less expensive than the HB and very well made. They are custom made resin infused boats. Very light and strong.

14 boxes done (stringer & bulkhead connections make a box)...only 10 more to do
...I took my like an hour a box...seems long but when you prime, fillet, cut glass, lay glass and then wet out the lamination it can take awhile
6 oz of epoxy, 15 scoops of blended fill and 3 scoops of cabosil will fillet a box and a half
Getting close

Are you still building the same boat? Is all of this called for in the plans? Seems like a lot of reinforcing, I thought I over did it. Lets see some pics.

This was a custom request by the Chalk-inator.
I gave him the basics for what would need for the hull. The insanity that ensued after that is not my doing!

No...some is by design, some is by my request or results of my requests
Hind sight being 20/20...JEM recommended that I use 3/8 plywood for the hull...I said I wanted to use 1/4"....that equated to more fiberglass and epoxy...wish I had listened to JEM

Roger that, you are planning on putting something like a 25 hp on the transom too, right.

I couldn't stand it nor could my back
...but the center cockpit structural components are glassed in....only thing left structurally is the rear bulkheads and motor well and glassing the outside...tempted to stay up all night and knock it out
