It's actually the tumblehome, but if you have a late enough night it might be the stumble home
I think you did a great job if you were able to to the hull in one section. I did mine in two sections, and had the boat on it's side to do it. Took 2 nights to get the glass on the bottom but it was relatively easy. The other advantage is having an extra layer of glass on the keel by overlapping the two sections.

Hehe - I was sure I had typed tumblehome, but maybe you are correct stumble-home would be more apt.
A quick question about your Stalker - on yours how did you hang the seat? The gunwales are at a strange angle in the midships because of the tumblehome. Any normal hanger would end up going through the gunwale timber at an angle of about 15degrees
Instead of hanging a seat I built a seat-box to house the battery in up front and it also helped to strengthen the hull so I didn’t need to use a thwart. I then made a stand to mount a seat-backer on. This is also a plus because I can move it forward or back to help adjust for the load and just to get it out of the way if I stand and pole the boat. It can also double as a camp chair if you want.

This is a rough start, I since added a tray under the seat which is great for putting loose items like lures, gps, etc…
Horrible wet and cold day today. Just the sort of weather to make epoxy take its time curing
While the main hull was untouchable I decided to work on the fittings. I will be fitting a portage yoke towards the centre of the boat, so found a piece of oak from the same batch as the gunwales and carved up the yoke.
You can see the wet hull in the background, temporarily tucked up in a corner of the garage.
A tough few days. All glass now laid, both outer hull (200g glass and 4 coats of epoxy applied whilst previous coat still tacky) and inner hull (163g glass and first coat of epoxy). Another late night
I guess I will have to leave it now for a few days as I am back at work and travelling until mid next week.
The plan is to sand and put second coat epoxy on inside mid week, gunwales next weekend.
Just had chance to take a good look at my glassing handywork. The outer hull is fine, but the inner layer is not pretty at all. Quite a few air pockets at the seams where the glass pulled away. I don't suppose there is any remedy but to sand them out and tape the seams is there?
