I actually have a set of North Wind strip-built plans ready. I was waiting for the original builder who paid for the plans to post some progress before publishing them.
anyway, just buy some S&G north wind plans and leave a note in the check that you want the strip plans.

I keep coming back to this boat, I just reread the thread and then did some reading on Krugers trips.
Couple more questions,between a strip built and a s@glue what would the performance difference be and stability.
?
Oh Clint that made this trip with Kruger used a yak paddle exclusively and in places going upstream he had to tow Verlen because of using a canoe paddle.
This man built 40 diferent models of the original to come up with the seawind.Wow

Stability will be the same. The S&G version has many panels so the shape is very rounded. There may be a slight performance improvement with the strip built, but not much.

Darrel and I have two Freedoms ,mine s@g and his a strip built . Might have another pair but mine would be a SS@G

This last weekend I paddled on the Brazos with a gentleman that had a rudder. It doesnt work well on this river to many shallows .
If I put a rudder on later it will be top mounted.
