This looks like the boat I've been looking for for years. Any idea of when plans will be available?

I'm revising a couple things.

I don't have assembly instructions but it's the same as the Wadefish. If you want the drawings for this boat with the wadefish instructions, I can sell them . Email me.

Do I need to fully sheath the interior with fiberglass if I use Okoume?

I recommend you do if using 4mm or less thick ply.

Not sure what Matt will say but remember it is nothing but wood and water rots wood , no matter what it is. (Exceptions are the oily woods , Cedar , Redwood and the one that last forever .... Cypress) .
Just a natural occurrence with boats and Okoume does not fall into the one area I listed , might not be for 10 years but sometime it will happen.

I would epoxy saturate it to stop any water from getting into it and if needed then glass it for security and strength.

There are strength issues with regard to the internal framing and supporting a cockpit. So I stand by my original advice. I do hedge toward safety.

I'm probably getting ahead of myself and this will be covered in the instructions. I'll definitely go with your recommendations. I want it to be lightweight, but I also want to have confidence in it in the surf and rocky rivers(not whitewater of course).

Bluefin looks interesting.

What would be best for the surf? Bluefin or Wadefish 2.0?
