Prototype Bluefin 12; 12' fishing SOT
When can I build one?
This looks like the boat I've been looking for for years. Any idea of when plans will be available?
Fiberglass on inside?
Do I need to fully sheath the interior with fiberglass if I use Okoume?

Re: Fiberglass on inside?
Not sure what Matt will say but remember it is nothing but wood and water rots wood , no matter what it is. (Exceptions are the oily woods , Cedar , Redwood and the one that last forever .... Cypress) .Warmouth wrote:Do I need to fully sheath the interior with fiberglass if I use Okoume?
Just a natural occurrence with boats and Okoume does not fall into the one area I listed , might not be for 10 years but sometime it will happen.
I would epoxy saturate it to stop any water from getting into it and if needed then glass it for security and strength.
Chuck.
