Shaved the bow down today and chased down "boogers"
aka globs of fiberglass and epoxy....I have been dry fitting the bulkheads and thinking of how I want to do things i.e. front hatch, rod tubes, drain's, power and such....I also baked a cake with my wife
and put some barn yard pimps on the grill...Not a bad day at the ranch

Opened up the center bulkheads today w/ integrated rod holders. Bulkhead pictured started the day at 8.12 lbs and finished the day at 2.07 lbs. I need to do some more sanding and cover with a layer of glass before installing. Rod holders will be lined with carpet once installed.
Once installed the boat can easily accomodate 8 rods and a maximum of 12 (6 forward and 6 rear)

I like the price and quality of the product from USComposites. I've done three boats with there epoxy.
Hey the boat looks great. You need to paint it electric chicken and hang the anchor of the back. Maybe you will get a bull red.

Where the heck has Chalk been? Since February - Ramstein - Germany, Boston - Mass, Miami - Fl, Charleston - SC, Honolulu, Hawaii. All for work, I think I need to find a trip to Japan or India to say I have circumnavigated the earth in 2007
Also made a trip to the Keys for some R&R -

I don't think I will make my deadline of May to have my boat painted...but I have acquired a 25 hp Tohatsu that runs for $100
..She isn't pretty, but the price was right. Also acquired a galvanized trailer for the awesome price of $0
So, what I have lacked in progress I have made up for in procurements...Fathers day is approaching and I have asked for more epoxy, so I hope to get her going again.
