Re: Dickie's Laker in the making
Getting way ahead? or way behind. I am gonna try and get out there and tack the seams around the stitches today or this evening. Been rainy past few days and have lawn to tend to first (and it's a full 1 1/2 acre, ugh) but I will get to it sometime today.

Still lokking the same. Sits quite a bit above the side panel. May have to cut or sand it down after

Re: Dickie's Laker in the making
Ahoy maties! Am I a boat yet?? Not quite
Bow seems to have come together pretty decent
I am about 1/16th off from that 1/4" mark
Flipped on top getting ready for the fillet process
Another random side photo prior to masking
Masking tape applied over entire inside of hull, there is one section on the seam where the width of the gap is "just" bigger that the popsicle stick. I tried to tighten it up and the rest of the stitches became too tight. It looks bigger on the photo but it is very minute in person. Am starting the fillet now. Will post some more later tonight. Wish me luck.

looks awesome!!! I am jealous of your ability to find time. I knew beforehand that my builds would be lengthy, I have to work around kids homework etc.
Keep taking pics and let me know of any mistakes, I'd rather you make them than me
