Did a bit ofa mockup to see where i would mount all my bibs and bobs

Matt would I be correct in assuming sweet spot for seat is with my back to aft cockpit wall?.........need to know to put pads to take seat tiedowns

Fly rod holder caught my elbow....arm while paddling so I moved it forward on port side

G'day Paul,

I have been closely following your build both here and on AKFF. and enjoying it immensly.

Your skill and attention to detail are second to none that I have seen and I think your lovely Sabalo will be a head turner in any company. (and out paddle most of them)

Bloody great stuff mate.

looking good!

sweet spot should be just forward of your hips as you sit in the cockpit. Design to be avout 12-16" aft of the floor peak.

Very impressive build - what is the reel on the starboard side with the red "Christmas tree ball" hanging from it - downrigger, drift anchor...????

Bob.........Its a Scotty downrigger I'll have to keep some wire cutters close handy though........for the tme it does become a drift anchor :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ha! A downrigger on a kayak, now I have seen everything. That will surely be one heck of a fishing machine.
