Re: Tassie Wadefish
Managed some more on the Wadefish today. Its a public holiday here today.
Got mine fiberglassed across the second side of the joints & most of the daughters sanded up & almost ready to glue together.
My sander broke. Its a product from Triton & fits to an angle grinder to make it an orbital sander.
It was great for sanding down weather boards when we renovated a 100 year old Federation House about 10 years ago. I guess the rubber has perished.

I got some more time in the shed today & got the kayak loosely stitched together. I need to get the other frames in & then start to tighten it all up.
Also got a new sander, you cant see it in the pic but it hooks up to my Vac system.

Life really improved when I got sanders that connected to the vacuum system.

Re: Tassie Wadefish
I got some more time in the shed today after a week of not being able to do any thing in there.
I cut the temporary frames out of some MDF so I can keep the off cuts of ply for the Mirage Drive Socket. I fitted these & flipped the hull over & started to fit the spacers & tighten every thing up.
Its starting to look boat shaped now.
I also added some of those special DNA Micro Dots to the built to prove I made it.
Thankfully its under where the graphite will be so I dont need to try & sand it out.

If you didn't bleed on it, you didn't build it right. At least that is what I tell myself to help with the pain.

If I was to use cable ties what size would be best?
