Looking great :wink: What kind of epoxy are you useing? I noticed it's got a white coloring to it.

You do good work. I like your rudder control counter-sunk boxes. Will you have access to the compartments under the cockpit?

That's not epoxy that's Elmer's glue. just kidding.
I thought it was hot-melt glue :lol:

Quick question: is the seat you are using on your Sabalo the Apex 1? It looks like it. If so, how do you like it?

Yes you are correct........ I've got a bit of a dodgy back (spent too many years in construction game) so I find the support good.

Velcro tie downs are a bit of a pain so I linked the thru brass dog clips and they work fine.

All in all very happy with seat and have ordered one for the brides boat :D

Mike the white is micro balloon filler in west system epoxy........pretty rough fillets but it will never be seen. :oops:

I found from my Sabalo build 50% white powder(west micro balloons)/50% sifted ply sawdust = about the same colour as ply when mixed with epoxy and set

This is for fillets you can see 8)

Finally got some work done on the beast as the bride said "whys it taking so long your's was quick" :shock: :oops:

In my defence I've been busy with work though and then theres been fishing to be done :shock:

Better buckle down to it me thinks........this weekend much sanding no fishing :cry:

Have started touching up joints that are a bit starved also cut out gunnels for handles as on Sabalo

A few flat spots on chines but not too bad :twisted:

Bride was beaming when I showed her the sanded boat 8) :D :D
