I have a guess but will keep it to myself for a while.
This is getting mighty intriguing.
Any new posts by Matt always catch my eye,
Now he is building something himself, so I'll try not to let a day go by without checking in.

I actually build a decent amount. But much is mock ups or prototypes from cheap material.LesForgue wrote:I have a guess but will keep it to myself for a while.

Not this one, though. Been thinking about and wanting this one for a while.

And yet even more cutting. Now is about the time a builder starts thinking "maybe I should have just bought the dang CNC kit!"
Just a couple more pieces and then on to drawing and cutting the stations.

Re: Stanley
Still need to draw and cut the stations but I wanted to start getting panels spliced since epoxy needs time to cure for each one.

All panels spliced. Just need to trim the butt blocks.
Strong back mounted to floor. 3 more stations to draw and cut.

Golly Matt.... I was thinking you were talking about a Hammer since Stanley is the only thing I associate with that name and now you come up with a great Balance Beam. You can make almost anything with a Stanley Hammer.
I did not know you were into Gymnastics and especially Balance Beam workouts. We will be looking forward to seeing you in the next Olympics.
You really fooled because all this time I was thinking you were making a boat from a new design you came up with. I had my hopes up it was a boat and then you go over to gymnastics and of all things a Balance Beam.
Chuck.

Before you do that it might be better if we got back to boats and after it is built and we can see it then you can risk life and limb.jem wrote:The uneven bars and pummel horse go in next week.
