Thanks. I had even thought about retrofitting my Sabalo with a drive, but I hate hacking into something that I know is functional and water tight.

I don't need it, but I am really impressed with the BlueFin. Matt, you need to figure out a way to get a pic of this on the Saltwater forum on TKF. About 10,000 members and many have expressed a desire to build a boat after seeing some of Ron's and mine only they wanted a SOT.

How much lighter is the sub floor in when compared to the Wadefish?
Can it be adapted to my as yet un-stitched second Wadefish for my daughter???

It will save about 6-9 pounds.
As far as adapting to the wadefish, I guess it could be done. Will take some mods.

3 to 4Kg seems like it would take a fair bit of redoing to reduce the weight of the floor by that much!
How much is involved for you & me as I have cut all the kayak out to the original plans?

They should be pretty much the same. WF a tad narrower so perhaps a bit easier because of less reaching.

The floor panels have to be widened, the cockpit frames extended, and the aft tankwell wall will be a redo. Which Wadefish do you have?

I have the Wadefish 15, 2.0
As I have already cut every thing out I may have to continue as I am. Its already to stitch together. I just need to make some more room in my workshop to get the second one beside the first one.

Ok. I don't think you'd go wrong either way.
