Ok after letting my panels sit on the shelf for three years I am back at it. I have it all stitched up an am moving forward. Pictures to come.
The stitching process was a blast. A boat just came out of nowhere.

Gluing panels
Starting to stitch. All these funny shaped pieces are turning into a boat

The epoxy putty I am using is really dark. I made it from cedar dust collected from sanding. It looks a little messy now. I hope it cleans up when I sand it.

Here it is with the stitching. This should have gone before the previous slide. I feel very good about how it is going together. However if I had it to do over, I would have spent a little more time aligning the panels at the stitch points. I stopped by harbor freight to pick up one of those cheese grater rasp files. It's going to clean up nice but I could have saved myself the trouble.

I decided it was going to be easier to do the inside in halves. I have one half done and am letting this sit a while before i smooth it out and wet out. The nice thing is this way gives an overlap at the keel seem which can't hurt. I also have a nice overlap at the stern and bow.

I had to slow down for a while. I had to study for my glider rating. I got it this last weekend so now back to the boat.
I have decided it takes 90 percent of the time to do 90 percent of the work and then it takes 90 percent of the time to do the final 10 percent of the work.
As soon as I find my camera I will post more pictures.

I am adding a 50 inch deck to the front and one a little smaller in the back. I will have this in the bay and I want some buancy in case I get swamped .
After, this, I will do,an end poor and add the gunwale.
