The 3 Freedom plans have been updated. I'm going to finish these Wadefish 2.1 plans within the next 5 days.

Should I go buy some plywood. I'm ready. Unless you would recommend a different SOT for the Pacific NW.

Woohoo!

I am excited to get started. I am building a workshop just for building these boats and I hope this SOT to be the first one to break it in.

Keep me posted I am a ready buyer.

JEM Watercraft was not around back then.

The 18 with the same width as the 15 and the additional footage should be a shallow water boat (as far as Draft when loaded) and one easy paddling kayak when loaded. I know the 15 is and all I can think of is that the additional 3 feet will only improve it for tripping.

With Lee's boat building experience it will be a honey when he is done , to look at and to paddle.
( Lee , you can send me the money in small bills for saying that , no checks or money orders )

Sparkinator,
I'm sure Matt would like to see the build on the site already, but the truth is, I'm having so much fun with Sue's 15, I haven't even started on the 18 yet.
Even then, I'll probably end up straying off the plans a bit, so I think that ruins my chances at a "cameo" appearence in the website "builders review".
Such is the price for disobeying the master designer's drawings!

I'll warn you guys right now, the drawings are busy.

I didn't try to cram everything in on one sheet but there's plenty of parts to draw. Not especially hard, but will take a bit of time and patience.

Definitely not a project for a first time builder.

Matt,
I'm not so sure that these plans won't be as clear as everything I've seen come out of JEM thus far.
You have a uniquely comprehensive product here.
I've purchased other plans, books with plans, and offsets from other designers.
None of them, I mean NONE of them, gave me the confidence to go buy the materials and start building until I purchased your "Freedom" plans.

If there are any other potential builders out there who have doubts about your products, please have them give me a call. I'd be more than happy to endorse your methods and plans to anyone. (unless they camped near Chuck lately  )

We're close boys and girls. I started improving sections of the instructions and when I got rolling, I really liked how it was turning out so I want to fix up the entire booklet.

Matt
First of all NICE BOAT!!

This looks like it will be a winner.
I like how you arranged everything you put a lot of thought into this, not that you don’t on all your boats.

Thanks.

I tell ya, for as many emails I've gotten from different builders asking about this one, I thought I'd have 10 orders by now!
