Shop around for Gaboon in Sydney.
I ended up buying mine for $55 a sheet from a mob in Monavale (northern beaches).
Another mob in Brookvale wanted $110 for exactly the same thing.
Mr Plywood quoted $39 a sheet but then told me they couldn't get it......
The guys Mick put me onto didn't reply to my email for almost a month but when they did they were pretty cheap. They were in Prestons or somewhere around there. I'd already bought my Ply when they replied.
Where are you located?
I'll have a dig around & see if I can find the contact numbers for you.

Here is the company Mick recommended to me a while back.
http://www.awpanels.com.au/
They are at Prestons in Sydney's south
I emailed them & the guy flicked me an email back about a month later with details. At that point I'd already bought 6 sheets so didn't bother with them.
I won't post the email here but if you want the info including a contact name & phone flick me an email at
alan_l@xxxinternode.on.net
remove the xxx, it's to stop bots sending me 1000 emails.
They are fairly cheap based on the quote they sent me & will deliver for a small fee.
I bought my Ply from these guys in Monavale.

The guy I initially spoke with was a nob but the guys who work in the factory are great. If I have a decent dig through my pile of paperwork I have a phone number somewhere for the foreman who was great to deal with. At $55 a sheet they aren't cheap but not too bad. The quality of the ply I got was very good & when I asked about the quality of their gaboon (I've heard some stories of patchy quality) they assured me if I had any issues with their ply I could bring it back & they'd replace it.
Pretty hard to beat.
I hope this is of some assistance

_AL_,
thanks for the info m8, I picked the ply up from AWP at prestons for $33.00 a sheet. Hassle free transaction and an endless supply of stock.
Cheers

It's a little late to be chiming in here, but my Issaquah was built from 4mm Okoume and it came out great. The only caveat is that you will absolutely, positively want to put the stiffeners across the bottom. On our first test paddle the bottom flexed an amazing amount. With the stiffeners, it's been perfect.
