Thought I'd post a couple pictures. It doesn't compare to some of the beautiful craftsmanship I've seen here, but as long as it floats and tracks relatively straight I'll be happy with it.
I wasn't real neat with my gluing or my cuts so I have a lot of sanding ahead of me. Now that I have what looks like a boat instead of a stack of lumber, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I'm pretty excited.

It sure is a good feeling when all those bits of wood start to resemble a boat. It's looking pretty good to me. Actually I'm starting to believe that sanding is very theraputic.I wasn't real neat with my gluing or my cuts so I have a lot of sanding ahead of me. Now that I have what looks like a boat instead of a stack of lumber, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
