Finished the hatch and attached the rod holder today.......
......then flipped her over and applied another coat of epoxy to the hull.
I'm getting really twitchy now to get her on the water but it's probably a few weekend away yet.
While the resins curing and paint drying I'm using the time to loft out and cut the panels for the Paddleboard.
Overlapping projects.... A great way to minimize downtime!

Re: olsnappa's Laker 14
Hmmm.......now that I've put the first coat of paint (blue) on the hull, I'm having second thoughts about the colour.
I'm thinking I might go with a green something like what's shown below.
I'll have a think about it and decide before the weekend so I can continue finishing her off then.
If I was any more indecisive I'd almost be female......
....... ( Ooooh, did I just say that out loud? )

Re: olsnappa's Laker 14#2
Okay!!! Well after a bit of my usual mucking about with colour schemes and details........I think she's done!
I finally decided on white hull and dark green detail.
Some shots of her below.
I have to go away next weekend but after that I'm hoping to get her on the water......Can't wait!

Excellent work, really great attention to detail. You can only get that kind of look by having a great amount of patience, something I'm lacking in right now, I'm trying to hurry my TV build but I've got to make myself slow down. It looks like my next build will be the Laker 14 that I have the plans for. I'll make the same type cockpit as yours, but probably make it longer with smaller decks. Looking at your Laker makes me want to hurry some more so I can start it. Drats!!!!
