G'day Craig,
Cobia is sort of like a sleeker, lower volume, prettier and probably, faster Okwata. It is still in prototype stage. I was building her for my ex-wife before she bacame x. Now I have no need for another very good kayak. There are allready two Lakers and an Okwata in the shed.
I don't feel at liberty to post images of this boat her yet but I believe in her. I think she will prove to be more than capable as an all round, Touring, low volume kayak with the looks and performance of a genuine sea kayak.

Thanks. Sounds like an interesting design. I am currently building the Okwata, but am now intrigued by the lower volume design.

Hey Guys, Sorry havent done much except get my shed ready at this stage. Im building work benches and setting up ready. Have had the wife off work & in hospital for a week with a blown back so I've been busy all round. Hope to start work on finnishing the Cobia & get it in the water ASAP.
Thanks Mick & Matt for your posts, saves me trying to explain something I know nothing about yet

Hey Matt,
After finishing my Okwata I have been itching to start my next build. I've got your plans for the TV pirogue, but I have put that on the back burner because I just love the look of this Cobia. Been hangin back waiting, but I am dying to have a crack at this one.
Just cant wait. Hope the plans will be released soon.

Re: Cobia 15
Well to spite the rain I couldn't wait any longer, I went out to Micks place and picked up the Cobia this morning. Lucky it's only about 15mins away from my place and the rain held off long enough to get her home dry, as she has no decks or resin on her yet. I will try and get some pictures up soon, but still having computer trouble, doing all my internet using my phone and big fingers and small keyboard don't go together
