Good point...I'm sitting on the hull in the pix. I had planned to install a 'stadium seat' or the like, and I think that would be still fairly stable. Next trip, probably this coming week, I'll risk standing up and see what happens
I'm ok with the seating position, think I'll just get a pad to sit on.
Note that I modified the cockpit opening considerably from the plans in consideration of how I'll actually be using the boat...as a poke boat, on the small lakes in Cen. Florida mostly. Plenty of space to turn sideways, even backwards, while I watch wildlife, etc.
