Well, I just ordered my plans for the Cape Fear SOT. My Pirogues are almost complete, just waiting for better weather and better health (the old flu bug is relentless). Just need to mount my seat and rigging on the 16 footer and then put a graphite bottom on the 13 footer.
Now I got to order my cloth and resin and clean the shop up. Actually I'm hoping to build me new shop at home quickly so I can work on my boats when I want.
Maybe I can finish this thing for some serious fishing at Laguna Madre near Corpus Christi, Texas this June.

Re: DEEPLY HOOKED
Awesome news. I'm eager to put the finishing touches on my pirogue so I can move on to the next boat building project.
Addictive isn't it?

Re: DEEPLY HOOKED
Got the plans for the Cape Fear SOT today!
Supplies are starting to trickle in, fibergalss cloth, resin & hardener, wood flour, and some rigging hardware.
Now I got to locate some wood and varnish.
DarrellS, if you read this, what kind of seat are you planning to use in your Wadefish?
I really like the Ocean Kayak Highback seat, but I just bought a new Surf to Summit for Austin Canoe and it looks wonderful. I will be using it in my Big Game.
