Question regarding Pirogue 14-29 assembly

Post by CrkdLtr »

Greetings to all. I was hoping I could get a little help or direction to something I may have missed while reading and following the instructions for the Pirogue 14-29.

Image

I'm reading page 10 and ran into a bit of confusion in the illustration above. I highlighted these two parts in red as I do not know how to identify them other than some sort of support for the forward and aft of the pirogue. I re-read all steps before this area and did not come across any instructions or measurements for these. I believe the instructions may refer to these as the "end frames"? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated as far as where I may have missed these or if this is necessary at this point to the construction of the boat.

Thanks.

I must sent an old copy of the assembly instructions.

Those parts are not part of the 14-29. I must have mixed them up with the P500 instructions.

sorry about that.

Hopefully the sides and the bottom measurements are all the same....

The measurements are good to go. On the P500, there is an option to create a sealed bulkhead and that's what you're seeing in that image. I'm going to update that image in the instructions. It's the only part that's need changing.
