This is great ,some fantastic ideas , didnt want to make Mat extra work just wanted to test the water (pun intended) to see if builders didnt mind if prospective builders could PM them for support. Could we just create another section?. A mix between builders log and show off your boat. my other point was that i have built Mats Gander river canoe but how many more have been built?. Food for thaught or may be not?,having seen Mick pictures its now easy to see for any prospective builder. The craft both in and out of the water but also set in a fantastic backdrop.

The frapper map would be the best part for me. I'd love a good way to find "local" builders.

J,
Is that why you listed your hometown on your profile? :? :P

Sorry J,
Sometimes the opening is just too big and I have to step my smart-a** right on through.

I've always liked the idea of respecting someones personal privacy.
If a builder wants to tell the rest of us where they're from it's nice, but I'm not sure we'd find out more by creating another forum.
Those who want to participate by giving thier location already are. There may be some who just don't feel comfortable giving that information out to the rest of us loonatics!!

It would certainly have to be a voluntary thing.
