Matt,

Still wondering. You mentioned that I may be interested in something you were working on. Would this be the wadefish? Or do you have another recreational/touring kayak in the works also?

Thanks,
Billy

It's still a ways from getting completed but the design parameters, for this version, has been finalized.

15' x 26".

It looks great! Seems to be very much like the Freedom, with rockered bottom, but with the tapered topsides.

Or is that the Okwata with the oval cockpit, and tumblehome?

Thanks for letting us see it. Can't wait to read about it.

Wadefish and one other project first. Then that one.

Name that boat

Sounds like this boat will be named "After Her", 'cause my wife will probably leave me when I order those plans.

Stunning lines Matt. Just brilliant!!

Hmmm..... looks like an Okwater hull joined to a Freedom/Laker style deck by an extra panel. This added complexity reminds me of a certain thread in the Misc section last month  .

As per some of the advice given there she is pretty, not too wide and has no transom!

And given that she has elegant and graceful lines with enough complexity to keep her interesting it makes one wonder: Is this is the one to get Matt out of the dog house regarding naming rights?

Either way she's mighty impressive.

ummm....maybe.

But maybe you'd better explain that one more. I'm lost!
