kengrome...

I hate to ask you to do this but try again , you are active according to the information I can locate in the registration section....I resubmitted it to play it safe.
Sorry Chuck, I hate to tell you this but I am still banned, so apparently there's more going on here than the email (gmail) address ban issue, unless that ban is still in effect of course:

"You have been banned from this forum.
Please contact the webmaster or board
administrator for more information."

It's weird, I've been banned for months but for a couple days last week I was able to login -- but only for those 1-2 days -- then I was banned again every day until (and including) today.

I always thought it was an ip address issue being that I'm living in the Philippines where the local kids abuse the internet and create problems like this for everyone else who lives here. But if it's not an ip address ban and it's not an email address ban then what could it be?

Ken,

Do you use a static IP address or use some proxy method? If you use a static IP address that does not change, Chuck should be able to set you up for easy and consistent access.

No ... but if there's no banning being done by ip address this wouldn't help anyways.

Too bad this is not an option, but once again if Chuck is correct that the forum is no longer banning by ip address then something else is being used to ban me ... and it's not my email address because I've deleted all the cookies from the site and I still get the 'banned' message even before I click the login link.

In fact, I get the same 'banned' message no matter what link I click that starts with this string of characters:

http://www.neilbank.com/phpBB2/

I know someone who is quite the phpBB guru. I'll ask her and maybe she can shed some light.
