Color Matching Fillets

Post by Teddy Madison »

Any tips on color matching the fillets with the plywood? I'm hoping to blend the seams as much as possible and the stitch holes as well.

Fillets usually turnout darker. You can try to mix and match different colors of woodflour. Maybe mix in some cabosil or glass beads (both white in color) to lighten the mixture.

Experiment with it and write down your recipe so you can make consistent batches.
